Hi, Bloxers! 👋🏻
We have some changes to the upcoming Testing of the #RogueBlox game.
So, instead of heading directly to Beta Testing, we will proceed with Closed Alpha Testing first before going to Beta version of the game. 📌
What is the difference between Alpha and Beta Testing?
One of the main differences between the two is the population of testers in the game.
Having Alpha Testing means lower number of testers and this is important in order for the development team to figure out the bugs, fix them, and improve the game on a smaller scale of user-base first.
Beta, on the other hand, opens up to a larger scale of testers, including the testing of server capacity, as well as seeing the bigger picture of player's activity before proceeding with the public game launch.
Since we are going to Closed Alpha Version, our first batch of testers will be relatively small: around 20-30 people only.
And we all know, we already have some people in our community who have the #RogueBlox Beta Tester . We will publish more details on who will be and how to join our Alpha Testing stage by next week!
Also, please take note that the Alpha Test version of the game is not yet fully polished. There will be bugs, and it's not yet perfect. The game is continuously being developed as we go through the process together with you, Bloxers!
If you have any questions or clarifications, ask us in the chat! :))
